There is no computer science in VIT, but there is computer engineering. Frankly speaking, you won't get it in first or second round. You'll have to wait. You may get it later. All the best!

Yes. You may get an admission for this course at MIT, after initial rounds, but I don't know whether they give B.Tech. Degree or B.E. as mentioned in your question area.

Hello Neeha,
You score is decent enough to get admission in RCOEM, but as far as CS is concerned it's cut off goes very high. So, it is very difficult to predict if you could even make it up for 2nd shift.

CS is a course which can be done only be getting yourself registered with the Institute of Company secretaries of India.
There's no college for doing the course.
The work of a CS includes looking after all the legal compliance which are required to be done by a company. The laws in which a CS excels includes corporate laws including company law, labor laws, FEMA and RBI compliance among others. Also, CS is considered as a key management personnel for any company and therefore, has more responsibility than any other normal professional.
It pays off nicely, too.

Yes, it is possible to pursue B.Com and CS simultaneously.
However, you need to manage the schedule properly so that the timing of the two doesn't get mixed.
Further, you need to be ready for hectic studying schedule if you wanna excel in both the courses.
It's quite normal to pursue graduation and CS together, so you can also go for the same.
Think and decide.

There are rare chances of you getting admitted to VIT with this rank. But, give a try till last round, if you are ready to take a risk. Because, if there are not sufficient numbers of admissions, in the last round anything can happen, i.e., any person with any rank can get admission. I'm telling you this, because this has happened last year. All the best.

You can't clear the course with 40% marks. For that too, you need 50% marks.
Further, even if you clear the exams with just passing marks, that's an issue in getting the first job. That too can be addressed if you have a great training exposure and clarity in laws.
Ultimately, it's how much you know theoretically and practically that matters in the end.
Remember, getting a job is not much difficult when compared to surviving in the job.
