• B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology
• B.Sc in Software Engineering
• B.Sc in Computer Science
• B.Sc in Information Technology
• Master of Computer Applications

There is good scope in the field only if it matches your interest and skills. If it matches, then you must opt for it.
* Jobs in government sector after computer engineering are :
- Graduates can work with different government companies such as DRDL, ISRO, ONGC, HCL, ISRO, ECIL and BEL.
- They can also attend competitive exams conducted by UPSC, SSC etc.

Hi, as per your query, the best course for you is BCA as it takes 3 yrs to complete. After BCA, you can work as a software engineer, software developer etc. Starting salary of an average BCA is around 10k. Later it will increase with experience. Later you can pursue MCA or MBA-IT for promotion and much salaries. You can also pusue B.Tech but it is for 4 years and takes students from Science background only. BCA takes students from all backgrounds. If you pursue MCA, it would be equivalent to B. Tech in IT. Hiiii. you can get admission in B.tech.without 12th science(Non.Med.)
but you have only one option. Diploma. the time period for diploma is three years. after completing diploma you can get leet entry in b.tech 2nd year.means your b.tech will complete in three years.
you have many trades in diploma. even you can change your trade in b.tech.

Sampada , I had done earlier PGDCA from Polytech from Pusa than I pursue my Career as Software Engineer by doing ASP.NET Courses as that time Web programming on high demand. I suggest you Now a days DO Data base part strong using Sql server . Do some courses in SSRS & SSIS to get a job in Database engineer . I recommend you to inquire from bites academy that providing Advanced training for the same .

If you did BE in Mechanical then there is less chance to go in software field , but if you can get good knowledge in programming field then you can give interview in software development field , because you can not do master in other line , but you can try to learn about programming then you may be get job in this line

You need to have science at 12th level then you can get admission in Btech computer science to become an software engineer. if you have arts then you can get admission in BA maths or BCA and after that you can get admission in MSC or MCA to become an software engineer , you also make practice on programming
