LPU is definitely good for CSE but you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same to get admission in LPU. UPES Scores are not considered by LPU. For admission in LPU you need 60% in class 12th with English, Physics and Maths and LPU NEST. Also, you get direct admission in LPU if you have 90% or above in Class 12th or 90 percentile in JEE Mains. Choosing a university is a big decision and a very difficult task, as our career depends upon that. Both the universities are doing equally good but here I would prefer LPU. There are several reasons for the same.
To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cybersecurity, IoT, data science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur.
In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned.
The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students.
If I talk about the placements, the preparation for placements starts from the very first year.
