The students having 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST candidate) in Boards
For lateral entry students -
In Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET with three years Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc. (Math) having 45% of marks (40% marks for SC/ST)
Appeared in final year examination of three years Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc. (Math) or passed three years Diploma in Engineering/B.Sc. (Math) having 45% of marks (40% marks for SC/ST).

BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BTech curriculum is common for all BTech specialisations in first year. Students need to choose a professional elective during the course. Below are some of the electives available to BTech CSE students:

IIT Dhanbad accepts the JEE Advanced entrance exam for admission, while MNNIT Allahabad accepts the JEE Main entrance exam for BTech admission. For CSE admission, the JEE Advanced last round closing rank was 3585. MNNIT Allahabad BTech cutoff 2025 closed at 5423. Reviewing the cutoff ranks, IIT Dhanbad is more competitive for CSE admission than MNNIT Allahabad.
