Congratulations for your board score. But I think, you may not get VIT in very first attempt. You will have to wait for 2nd or 3rd round. Then you may get CSE or IT in VIT.

I may describe it as a hierarchy, IT is a part of computer science, which deals with the study of the various technologies that are in use. Computer Science is the main root which more defines the significance of the same in the industry. Every college is different and hence their admission criteria also varies. Please confirm the college/university name in which you want to enroll. You can check the eligibility criteria of the college before applying and you can check the same on their website.
