In case you don't get a good college on the basis of this rank, then you can opt for some of the good private universities like LPU, SRM, VIT, etc offering B.Tech CSE.
They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of your marks in class 12. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12 or JEE or even during the course.

Advantages of doing B.Sc Biotechnology
The major advantage of doing a B.Sc Course in this subject is that the course duration is short, when compared to a BE /B.Tech Programme. B.Sc course takes 3 years to complete, whereas BE /B.Tech. Programme takes 4 years. Another advantage is relatively low saturation level in this field. From facts and figures, it is quite evident that B.Sc Biotechnology is not a very popular professional course among class 12th Science students. Students prefer courses like BE /B.Tech MBBS BDS etc. On seeing the B.Sc Label, they tend to ignore Biotechnology course. This has resulted in relatively less number of takers for this course.
