The truth about Vishwakarma College of Arts Commerce and Science.
Placements: Roughly 75% of my class strength gets placed through various placement programs before the end of the academic year. The salary package offered ranges from Rs. 10,000-40,000 per month. Recruiting companies for our course are IBM, Tata Motors, Fujitsu, etc. Students receive roles according to their academic knowledge and skill sets.
Infrastructure: The college is equipped with scientific and computer laboratories. College also has 2 libraries with a large catalogue of books, both related to academics and outside the academics. Every classroom contains whiteboards and a projector. There are also CCTVs in hallways and classrooms. The college does not have Wi-Fi for students. The college doesn't have a hostel service as well. The canteen is available for students to have breakfast or lunch. The college gives students plenty of options in sports for them to participate in.
Faculty: Teachers are certainly top-notch. They are knowledgeable and the best at their job as teachers. They listen to the queries of every individual student and respond to students. The course curriculum is 100% relevant as it follows the Savitribai Phule Pune University Board. This curriculum is relevant for the real world out there. Exams are fairly easy if the course and study are taken seriously.

It is the all-time best to get an education and life lessons.
Placements: Almost 82% of students are placed with good packages in various companies like Infosys, Amazon, Flipkart, HSBC, HCL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, etc. Students are placed in various important roles like web developers, junior software developers, software testers, etc.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure and building are good. The parking area is large and clean. Labs are in good condition, with AC in each lab. Medical facilities are also available in the college. Washrooms are neat and clean all the time. Grounds are in good condition for playing sports.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their fields. Students grow up in a good manner under teachers. Courses make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are not too much difficult. Passing percentage is 95-98%.
Other: I am passionate about the IT field, and that's why I chose the BCA course. The Physical Director is very helpful for sports-related students. Overall, the college is excellent for learning so many things in life.

College life at Vishwakarma College.
Placements: No students were placed from our batch. Companies didn't visit the college. Internship needs to be found out by students themselves; no assistance is provided by the college. The roles offered in our course were salesperson, junior cashier, warehouse keeper, and marketing manager.
Infrastructure: No hostel facility is provided. The library is well equipped with books; Wi-Fi is only for faculty, not for students. Computer labs are provided. The canteen is good. No ground for sports activity and zero medical facility. Decent washrooms and also classrooms with whiteboards and projectors are there.
Faculty: Teachers are not experienced; they are at learning stage; teaching quality is okayish, not up to the mark; the course is made by the university; it doesn't help students to be industry-ready. The semester exams are easy if you study properly; passing percentages are based on university guidelines.

Review of Vishwakarma College of Arts Commerce and Science.
Placements: Our college provides average placements. They refer to the percentage of students who secure jobs through campus recruitment. It depends on factors like the college's reputation, industry connections, and student performance. Higher rank institutions have better placement rates.
Infrastructure: When choosing a college for a B.Sc. in computer science, having a good infrastructure can significantly enhance the learning experience. A well-equipped institution should offer modern computer labs with high-performance systems, the least software, and high-speed internet support for programming, data analysis, and research work.
Faculty: Our college has experienced professors and industry experts who provide theoretical and practical knowledge. The curriculum covers core subjects like programming, data structures, databases, and networks, along with electives in AI.
Other: Cultural, NSS, and events can be planned in better ways.

My Honest Review about VCACS.
Placements: Placements were grim during my time in the college, due to situations like Covid-19 and international wars, etc. I remember only 5-8 students actually getting placements, with the highest package being 4.5 LPA. There is also a WhatsApp group run by the placement cell, and many recruitment messages are sent to it occasionally. However, it is worth mentioning that not all students applied for placements. A majority of them chose to hunt for jobs themselves or planned to study further in India and foreign countries. In 2024, I am sure it is much better now.
Infrastructure: My course was Bachelor of Science (Computer Science), and infrastructures related to it were spot-on! There were spacious classrooms which could accommodate at least 100 students at a given time. The labs for Computers and Electronics are air-conditioned, and are up-to-date with all the equipment and are well-equipped! I live nearby, so I did not opt for hostels, nor does the college have one, but we can find a lot of PGs and hostels nearby or around the college. There is a dedicated sports department that takes care of sporting events, both internal and external.
Faculty: Their teachers are just the best. They are well-qualified, with the majority of them being Assistant Professors and the rest being Professors. They are highly educated, with at least a Master's degree, and there are some professors who hold a Ph.D. in the Computer field. The teaching quality was great, their teachers are very cooperative and helpful. The course curriculum is very relevant to today's needs but lacks practical knowledge. Safe to say, it only satisfactorily makes a student industry-ready. The semester exams are moderate to hard when we scale it that way for difficulty.
Other: I chose this college because it is reputed (it is NAAC A+ accredited) and it is convenient for me to commute to it on a daily basis. The best thing about my course was the practical sessions and Final Semester Project me and my classmates worked on. I wished the course was more practical to today's needs to make sure that a student is industry ready, and maybe some update would have helped a lot, it only trends to teach you commonly used languages in #C, Java, Python, HTML, CSS etc. The college has good Fests as well "VishwaCarnival" being one.

To sum everything up the college is kind of above average.
Placements: The percentage of the of the students place in my department is quite high compared to other colleges here in Pune. The highest package was around 34LPA and the lowest was 7LPA Infosys and TCS The percentage in my department B.Com is 67% though the number changed when it comes to the engineering department, which is 87% (approximately) Top roles offered are of employees and HR's and many friends of mine got the job of an accountant as well, and I personally believe that the reputation of my college helped quite a lot.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are quite average, to be honest. The washrooms are almost always dirty and smelly but that's only about the 1st floor and not all the floors. However, the quality of the facilities apart from the building (library, canteen, ground) is pretty well maintained and well sanitized as well.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful and cooperate with the students on any matter, be it personal or work, related they are always there to help. Yes, my course B.Com is very relevant to the real world. In fact, all the subjects are related to real-world works, for example, FOB which stands for fundamentals of banking, teaches us everything about banks and how to use their services in the best way possible. The semester exams according to me are pretty easy, and the passing percentage is the standard 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in accountancy and I wanted to learn and explore more about it. The best things about my course are how practical it is and how easily it can be studied Honesty, nothing because it's pretty easy and useful. The only downside according to me is that the crowd of our college is divided in 2 parts, one being kind of below average people, and one being sophisticated and decent people, the connectivity however is great and scholarships are pretty good too.

A:

Yes, the BCom in Commerce and Accounting courses are well recognised in Commonwealth countries such as, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, especially when obtained form accredited universities.
