Lateral entries are normally granted to students who have a good academic track record. You should check with the admission authorities of your college for minimum qualifications required to apply for lateral entries. Also, before you give up your seat in the current college, make sure you secure a seat in the target institute for B.Sc. in computer science.

Documents required to apply for lateral entry are most likely decided by the institute from where you are leaving. Normally a transfer student would require a transfer certificate, pass certificates for previous semesters and approval form the former college. I have provided you a link of Calicut University. Perhaps, you can, but how will you manage attendance in both colleges? I would advise you to complete B.Sc with very good marks and then go for animation.
