You can apply for M.Des in Fashion Design, Students coming from any 10+2 or graduation discipline from a recognized university, or board with a minimum aggregate of 50%, can appear for any entrance or admission process or any design course. The basic eligibility criteria of B.Des courses of NIFT is 10+2 in any stream. The upper age limit for B.Des courses is 23 years and five years relaxation to reserved communities. The admission in B.Des courses are done through the Entrance exam conducted by NIFT generally conducted in the 3rd week of January every year. The application from of NIFT entrance exam will be available in the month of October every year. Please see the NIFT website for more details https://www.nift.ac.in/

The eligibility criteria of M.Des courses is depends upon the courses you wish to pursue. However most of M.Des courses of NID and NIFT like Animation and film design, Furniture and interior design, Graphic design, Product Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design etc. Can be done after the 3 years of graduation degree. So you can pursue anyone of them. However B. Des. Is recommendable here if available.
