Yes, Dietetics is considered a paramedical course. It is a branch of healthcare that focuses on the study of nutrition and its effects on the human body. A qualified dietitian is trained to provide medical nutrition therapy and dietary advice to patients with medical conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and obesity. They work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop dietary plans that meet the specific needs of patients, taking into account their medical history, lifestyle, and cultural background.
