Follow these tips during your prepare for CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) 

• Be thoroughly informed about your syllabus. Download the syllabus from the official website and list all the topics. 

• Create a monthly or weekly target to keep your preparation on track. 

• As soon an a topic or chapter is completed, give at least two to three tests to ensure that you have retained everything that you needed, while learning. 

• After the end of the syllabus, attempt as many mock tests as you can . This will ensure you to master your time management skills and to know that what question attempting strategy works best for you.

• Solve the previous year papers to be familiar with the pattern of questions. 

• Revise as many times as possible. This will decide your final score during the examination.

No, there is no maximum or upper age limit to appear for the CTET exam. Candidates should be above 17 years of age with no upper age limit are eligible to apply for CTET exam. Diploma/Degree is required but it is not necessary for everyone who appear for CTET exam. It depends on whether you want to teach at Primary level (Class 1 to Class 5) or Elementary level (Clas 6 to Class 8). CTET Exam 1 is for candidates who want to teach at Primary Level and CTET Exam 2 is for candidates who want to teach at Elemetary level and those who want to be in the category of teaching Class 1 to Class 8, they would have to clear both the papers (CTET 1 and CTET 2).

Candidates have to choose four centres for their examination according to their preferences. The Examination conducting body (CBSE) takes your first choice to account and allotes the same . However, they are entitled to assign any one of the remaining three choices as well . 

CTET 2024 Examination is to be conducted on January 21 2024. Admit cards for the examination are supposed to be released during the starting of January 2024 (Tentative).

Clearning CTET exam does not guarantee you a job. This exam is conducted at national level for testing the candidates eligibility for teaching at Primary (Class 1 to Class 5) or Elementary levels (Class 6 to Class 8).
