According to the latest notice by Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (CTET), the passing score for SC and ST category is 55 Percent. The candidates must score at least 82 marks out of 150 marks to qualify in the examination.

The duration of Central Teacher Eligibility Test ( CTET) 2024 is two hours and 30 minutes. The examination is a multiple choice question (MCQ) type. With -
+1 marks for each correction answers.
0 marks for each wrong answer.
0 marks for each unattempted question.
The total number of questions are 150 each ( Paper 1 and Paper 2). With 150 being the maximum marks.
The examination is scheduled on 21 January 2024.

Follow these tips to score good in your CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) examination in one month:
• Since you don't have much time left, trying to cover the entire syllabus without revision won't work. See the topic wise weightage of each subject in the examination and prioritise your subjects accordingly .
• After you are done with the weightage wise syllabus, start practicing mock tests as many as you can . Time management and question practice will be your best friends during the examination.

• Be thoroughly informed about your syllabus. Download the syllabus from the official website and list all the topics.
• Create a monthly or weekly target to keep your preparation on track.

CTET exam 2024 dates has been announced by CBSE on its officila website. It will be held on January 21, 2024. This exam is conducted at national level for testing the candidates eligibility for teaching at Primary (Class 1 to Class 5) or Elementary levels (Class 6 to Class 8). This exam just makes you eligible to apply for teaching jobs in Government Schools such as KVS, NVS and many more. The exam will be conducted two times in an year. There will be two shifts of exam . First shift will be from 09:30 am to 12:00 pm and Second shift will be from 02:00 pm to 04:30 pm.

CTET exam is conducted twice a year. You can appear for CTET paper 1 and CTET paper 2 in different cycles of the exam.
Paper 1 is for those candidates who want to teach at Primary level (Class 1 to Class 5).
Paper 2 is for those candidates want to teach at Elementary level (Class 6 to Class 8).
Candidates who want to teach from Class 1 to Class 8 have to clear both CTET Paper 1 and CTET Paper 2.
It is pen and paper test conducted in offline mode. You have to clear both papers only if you want yourself to be eligible to teach both at the Primary and Elementary levels.

No, there is no maximum or upper age limit to appear for the CTET exam. Candidates should be above 17 years of age with no upper age limit are eligible to apply for CTET exam. Diploma/Degree is required but it is not necessary for everyone who appear for CTET exam. It depends on whether you want to teach at Primary level (Class 1 to Class 5) or Elementary level (Clas 6 to Class 8). CTET Exam 1 is for candidates who want to teach at Primary Level and CTET Exam 2 is for candidates who want to teach at Elemetary level and those who want to be in the category of teaching Class 1 to Class 8, they would have to clear both the papers (CTET 1

Candidates are advised to reach at least Two Hours (120 minutes) prior to the CTET 2024 Examination to avoid any hassle or delay .
They must be present their examination centre with all the necessary documents and examination centre ticket (hall ticket ) to be granted entry without any disturbance.
