Apex University DPharma selection process is based on two criteria. The university selects students for the DPharma programme in the following two ways:

  1. 50% of the total DPharma seats are filled through CUET merit
  2. Remaining 50% of the seats are based on the APEX merit. The university conducts the Apex Common Entrance Test (ACET) to shortlist students for DPharma and other courses offered at the university.

Yes, students enrolled in the PIET DPharma programme are required to undergo a mandatory training programme. The DPharma programme is divided into two years. Students, after appearing in the second year of the programme are required to go for three months of practical training.

These trainings are conducted at pharmacy stores approved by PCI. They can also opt to work in a government hospital. Moreover, during this training programme, students are required to complete 500 hours of training in prescription handling, inventory control, drug store management, and assisting medical officers in regular procedures that deal with the patient

PIET offers a total of 60 seats for the DPharma programme. The distribution of these seats is done via HSTES counselling. Thus, to get a seat, students must apply for the course on institute's official website. After that, they must register and appear for HSTES counselling. Moreover, students must also note that the aforementioned seat intake is as per official sources. However, it is subject to change.
