For ages, Dance has been seen as an expression of self. The relevance of Dance is too much, especially in a country like India where Dance is concerned with the deep-rooted culture and traditions. Based on origination, all the dance forms have been classified into three types- classical, contemporary, and folk dance.

For CUET (Common University Entrance Test) and UGC NET eligibility to pursue a BA in Dance at Visva Bharati University:
CUET: The eligibility for BA programs usually requires completion of 10+2 education. Since you have a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, you may need to check if it is considered equivalent to a higher secondary qualification for CUET eligibility.
UGC NET: UGC NET is for post-graduate admissions and research eligibility. For BA programs, UGC NET is not required, as it is intended for Master's degree holders.
Check Visva Bharati University's specific requirements for the BA in Dance program.

There is a promising and long-term career in classical dance, particularly in Kathak. Learning a classical art form is truly a blessing. It is not just about mastering the techniques and eventually opening a dance studio; it's about fully immersing yourself in the art and embracing the joy and wellness it brings. While financial success is possible, it largely depends on your dedication and passion for continuous learning and creating unique dance pieces through your creative process.
