Admission is based on candidates performance is based on  Academic Merit, Written Test & Personal Interview.

Candidates who have twelve years of school education form any recognised Board of Secondary Education are eligible for the BSc programme at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI). The Institute ffers BSc for three years in multiple specialisations, including Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc. Candidates must appear for the institute based written exam for admission.

There is no such provision to get direct admission to the Dayalbagh Educational Institute's MBA programme. Aspiring candidates must fulfil the following conditions required for admission in MBA programme at DEI:

  • Candidate must possess a UG degree irrespective of the discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate.
  • Candidate must take the Admission Test in online supervised mode and based on the performance in the said test, the candidate will be shortlisted for further admission rounds.
  • Based on their performance in the aforesaid test, candidates will be shortlisted for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) rounds.

Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) accepts admission into its programmes based on academic merit, written objective tests and interviews (in some cases). Aspiring candidates must apply for the written test through DEI official website by paying the application fee of INR 270.

Selected candidates can register for the counselling process, and to complete the counselling and admission process, candidates need to report to the admission cell at DEI for document verification and fee payment.

I'm very much satisfied with the college and the level of studies. The college has a bit of a disciplined environment where much focus is laid on quality studies and even extracurricular activities. They try to keep you indulged in studies and academics so much that you'll hardly get time to think about the rest. They make good use of technology while imparting knowledge to us.
