The University of Mumbai lays down the eligibility requirements for DCJ entrance exam. According to the official website, a candidate is eligible to appear for the DCJ entrance exam if:
- He/she has passed the Bachelors Degree in any specialisation form MU or any other recognised university by the University of Mumbai.
- He/she has submitted the DCJ exam application form of the Department of Communication and Journalism, along with the statement of purpose and two testimonials as prescribed by the university.

Candidates planning to apply for DCJ entrance exam for admission to MA in Communication and Journalism (MACJ) and MA in Public Relations (MAPR) at the University of Mumbai can either visit the university's official website: mu.ac.in or the SAMARTH portal of Mumbai University at muadmission.samarth.edu.in.

The exam body conducts the DCJ Entrance Exam offline (pen & paper based test) so you must be present in person to take the exam.
