No, students are not allowed to open a clinic after completing the BPharm degree from Qunatum University. According to PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), pharmacist are not eligible to open their own clinics. To start the clinic, a person should be a holder of an MBBS degree. Without an MBBS degree, no one can operate a clinic or even prescribe medicine to patients. However, after completing the BPharm degree, graduates are eligible to obtain a license for the chemist/medicine shop. Yes, BE course at GCEM is equivalent to a BTech degree. BE course includes both conceptual and technical content that helps students to upskill and develop deeper knowledge about technologies. BTech is a more practical driven course whereas BE has more theoretical content. Both degrees have almost equivalent importance in the employment sector.
