Diploma courses usually have a short duration of 1 year whereas a degree course may have a duration of 3 year. Some of the benefits pursing a Diploma programme are as follows:

  • Students can enrol without any prior experience and develop practical skills.
  • Diploma courses are extremely affordable costing equivalent to 50% of a bachelor's program.
  • Professional work experience opportunities.
  • If a student chooses to pursue degree course after completing diploma, he will be eligible to less entry requirements.

Of course, having a BDes degree is not mandatory, but a beneficial step toward your bright career. Pursuing a BDes degree is not just about attending classes; it is a stepping stone for your Design career. A BDes degree will provide you with the right knowledge and skills, help you become better, offer practical knowledge, and provide internship opportunities to help you grow your network.
However, you can become a Designer without a degree but with the right skills, a strong portfolio, and relevant experience.

Yes, the Bachelor of Design is a highly competitive degree programme with limited seats in top colleges, strong portfolio requirements, and eligibility for high entrance exam scores. The design industry is evolving at a rapid pace, increasing the demand for skilled Design professionals. This makes the competition for students high.

Yes,  LLD degrees from known Indian universities are generally recognised internationally within academic and legal circles, although specific recognition standards can vary. For instance, In USA holders of foreign law degrees often need to obtain a J.D. or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school in the US to practice.

In India, there's generally no upper age limit for undergraduate degrees. Most universities allow admission even after 27 years. Only a few entrance-based courses like JEE or CLAT may have age restrictions. So yes, you can definitely join a regular college after 27, especially through state or private universities without entrance barriers.

Yes, candidates who have completed their bachelor's degree through distance education from a UGC or AICTE-approved institution are eligible, provided the degree is of at least three years' duration and meets the minimum aggregate marks requirement. The university must be recognized, and the mode of education should comply with Tamil Nadu's admission guidelines.

Yes, candidates may submit a provisional degree certificate issued by their university or institution if the final certificate is not yet available. This document must clearly indicate that the candidate has successfully completed a bachelor's degree of at least three years' duration. It should be accompanied by the mark sheets showing the required aggregate percentage.
