Yes, BE course at GCEM is equivalent to a BTech degree. BE course includes both conceptual and technical content that helps students to upskill and develop deeper knowledge about technologies. BTech is a more practical driven course whereas BE has more theoretical content. Both degrees have almost equivalent importance in the employment sector.

No, with a graduation degree and a BSTC diploma, you cannot apply for level 2 in REET. To apply for level 2, you need to have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks, along with a B.Ed or its equivalent, or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed). So as per your qualifications, you can apply for only level 1. The REET Level 1 exam is conducted for primary-level teachers who want to teach Classes I to V, and a BSTC Diploma holder is qualified to teach at this level only.
