Students can go for further studies enhancing their CV by pursuing post graduation in dentistry. Dental surgery graduates can pursue Master of Dental Surgery to gain specializations such as operative dentistry, prosthodontics, oral medicine and radiology, periodontology and oral implantology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, conservative, endodontics and aesthetic dentistry.
Bachelor of Dental Surgery [BDS] graduates can take lateral entry into third year of MBBS.

After BDS, you are not eligible for MA English but after BDS, you do many things like
you can apply for DEFENCE
you can apply for IAS
You can do MDS, etc.
M.A in English is a Master Degree and the course is divided into four semesters. There are so many college offering this course in India.
Eligibility criteria
You should complete graduation in any discipline with minimum 55% percentage from a recognized university. You should score minimum 50% percentage of marks in Bachelors degree.

The duration of BDS degree ranges from 3 years to 5 years. The variation in duration is due to necessity of an internship or a lack thereof. The course can be pursued either in full time mode or in part time mode through correspondence.
