Department of Library and Information Science (DLIS), Somaiya Vidyavihar University, provides MLISc admission to applicants who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria. Further, the selection for admission is based on the applicants' merit in the qualifying exam, subject to the availability of seats. Selected candidates are also required to undergo a document verification process before final admission. Hence, getting direct admission to the MLISc programme of DLIS, SVU, may not be possible.

The total MLISc fee at DLIS SVU is INR 1 lakh. It is payable over the course duration of two years. This includes the tuition fees, exam fees and development fees. For NRI candidates, the total fee is INR 1.47 lakh. Students are also eligible to avail themselves of the scholarships provided by SVU Mumbai. The mentioned fee information is sourced from the official website of the university/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.
