The requirement for entrance exam varies course-wise. ESEDS School of Design conducts entrance test for UG programmes i.e. BDes and BBA. Further, aspirants also need to pass interview and portfolio review rounds for admission. Aspirants can get admission based on their merit in the last qualifying exam in all other programmes.

To get admission into the general BDes course and other offered specialisation available at the Jindal School of Design and Architecture, candidates are not required to appear and score in IELTS. However, for the five-year international design course, candidates must have secured an IELTS band of 6.5 with at least 6.5 in writing and no element below 6.0.

To secure a 100% scholarship for the BDes course at School of Design, MIT WPU, students must score 93 or above in MIT-WPU CET or have a UCEED rank within 800. Eligibility for this scholarship also depends on fulfilling other admission requirements.
