Admission to the NITTE School of Fashion Technology and Interior Design is determined by both entrance exam scores and merit. All Indian students must apply for admission in accordance with the policies of Bangalore City University and the Government of Karnataka (GoK). The school uses the results of the NSFTID admission tests to create a shortlist of candidates for UG and PG courses.
