You should pursue a course in fashion design. Bachelor of design is the most common choice opted by students willing to pursue a career in fashion design. Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design builds in eligible candidates a foundation in design and fashion towards creating competent and professional designers and managers in the field of fashion. B. Des in fashion design is a 4-year undergraduate course, the minimum eligibility for which is a Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Regards.

Dear student,
Being an interior designer means you need to be creative in many ways. From the colors you get to use, to the furniture you get to add. And secondary 100% placement can be given by no college. You can join Diploma courses in fashion designing, but it is not that good and will not be useful to you. My advice is to pass in class 12th with good percentage, and then try for NIFT exam. In this, you have a chance to get admission in best government colleges. I am saying this, because this course is still growing and it is not at peak like of B.Tech, MBA, etc.

Hi Harika!
Yes, you can pursue a post graduation Diploma in fashion design. Many fashion institutes allow admission to students from a different background than fashion to take the entrance exam. The admission is purely based on your performance in the entrance test. Some of the institutes that you can apply to, are:
1. NIFT
2. JD Institute of Fashion
3. B. D. Somani Institute of Art and Fashion Technology
4. Apeejay Institute of Design.
