The fashion courses offered at the institute include theory as well as practical implementation with the main emphasis being on creative work in the studios. The diploma courses are taught entirely in the studios rather than the conventional classes.
Apart from the course curriculum, the institute conducts various co-curricular activities such as field trips, fashion shows, awards, party and many more. The institute has a total of eight faculty heads, including all departments. Some of the training and placement partners of the institute are Mia by Tanishq, au Finja, Skyler, Marks and Spencer, Benetton, Manubhai and many more. Apart from the regular programmes, the institute also offers a Khat Work Embroidery course with a duration of one month.

Currently, the institute offers BDes, BSc, MDes, MSc, MBA, diploma, UG diploma, advanced diploma and certificate programmes in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewelry Design, Bag Designing and Accessories Designing. Additional Courses

INSD Kandivali Courses
At the UG level, the institute offers BDes and BSc in five different specialisations with a course duration of three years. MBA, MSc and MDes are offered at the PG level. The duration of PG programmes is two years.
