International School of Design, Kandivali

International School of Design, also known as INSD Kandivali is a private institution located in Kandivali West, Mumbai. The institute is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). INSD has won a national award for the Best Design School in India in 2017. Apart from this, in the same year, the institute was also ranked in Top 10 Colleges in India by the Higher Education Magazine.

Currently, the institute offers degree and diploma courses in Fashion Design, Interior Design, Jewelry Design, Bag Designing and Accessories Designing. The fashion courses offered at the institute include theory as well as practical implementation with the main emphasis being on creative work in the studios. The diploma courses are taught entirely in the studios rather than the conventional classes.

Apart from the course curriculum, the institute conducts various co-curricular activities such as field trips, fashion shows, awards, party and many more. The institute has a total of eight faculty heads, including all departments. INSD Kandivali Courses

At the UG level, the institute offers BDes and BSc in five different specialisations with a course duration of three years. MBA, MSc and MDes are offered at the PG level. The duration of PG programmes is two years.
