The total seat intake for BDes is 60. Aspirants after completing Class 12 or equivalent exam with at least 50% aggregate or 5 CGPA can apply for the BDes course. BDes is a four-year course offered at the UG level. However, it must be noted that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website. It is still subject to change and, hence, is indicative.

There is an age limit to apply for BDes programme of Footwear Design and Development Institute, Guna. The age limit for the bachelor's programme shall be 25 years as on the July 1 of the admission year. However, there is no age limit to apply for master's courses. Besides, candidates must also fulfil the educational requirements to apply for admision.

Candidates seeking admission at Footwear Design and Development Institute, Guna need to pass AIST conducted by the institute. AIST is the entrance test conducted in pen and paper mode to select candidates for admission. Hence, the institute does not offer direct admission. Aspirants need to pass each round of selection to get a seat in the institute.

Yes, BDes is available at FDDI Noida. This programme is offered for a duration of four years. Moreover, the mode of education is full-time. Apart from this, under this programme, the institute offers three specialisations for students to choose from. These specialisations are BDes (Footwear Design & Production), BDes (Leather, Lifestyle & Product Design), and BDes (Fashion Design). Admission to all these courses is done via ASIT exam.

At FDDI Noida, the BDes programme is spread across three specialisations. These specialisations are BDes (Footwear Design & Production), BDes (Leather, Lifestyle & Product Design), and BDes (Fashion Design). Amongst all, the highest number of seats are made available for BDes (Footwear Design & Production) and BDes (Fashion Design). For each specialisations, the institute offers 80 seats.
