To get into IMS Design and Innovation Academy for a BDes course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. IMS Design and Innovation Academy offers full-time BDes courses of four years' duration. Students can get into this course based on IMS DIA entrance exam followed by GAT and CAT + PI. No, one can not join IDC IIT Bombay without qualifying UCEED for B.Des. The eligibility criteria for getting admission into the college is that one should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent ) from the recognised Board/Examination.
UCEED is an exam of 300 marks. It has 3 sections. It is usually conducted in the January month and the results are declared in February. The examination is an MCQ-based question paper.

Below points will be helpful for students who are preparing for entrance exams.
- Prepare a time table for studying, include each topic in every subject and follow the time table strictly. After doing this it is confirmed that the syllabus is checked once. Allocate time daily studies.
- Clear up the basics . The Basics will form the base for the more advanced chapter later on. A strong understanding of the basics will be useful.
