IILM Lucknow does not offer a B.Des program, but IILM University, Gurugram does. To apply, you need to have completed 10+2 from a recognised board. The process includes filling out the online application, appearing for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), attending a personal interview, and completing document verification. The total tuition fee for the B.Des programme at IILM Gurugram is around INR 13.6 lakh. For more details, check the official website of IILM University.

To apply for the BDes programme offered at Karnavati University, students need to fulfil the admission criteria of the programme before applying. The university shortlists candidates for this programme through the Design Aptitude Test (DAT). Further, students need to go through Portfolio Evaluation, Situation Test, and PI for admission into the university's UG design programme.

The career scope of Footwear Design abroad is wide, with many major footwear fashion brands like Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Deckers, etc., having their hubs in countries like the USA, Vietnam, Germany, the UK, etc.

The syllabus and course curriculum of every Footwear Design college differs depending on the course level and type they offer. However, their syllabus is generally divided into 4 sections: Theory Paper, Soft Skills, Hard Skills, and Management. 

Under the Theory paper, students learn about Footwear Designing through theoretical subjects. Soft skills teach them about Coral Draw, Photoshop, etc. Hard Skills include Cutting techniques, Die Less Cutting, etc., and finally, under Management, they learn about Product Costing, Finance and Accounting, Project Management, etc.
