Diploma candidates need to meet the following conditions for admission:

  • Done full-time Diploma of 4-year duration after 10+2
  • Diploma in the following subjects is accepted - Design/ Fine Arts/ Applied Arts/ Architecture.
  • The Diploma must be done from a university or institute recognised by law in India.

The NIDs offer a full-time B.Des programme of 4-year duration, and a full-time M.Des programme of two-and-half years duration. 

The institute, in addition, also offers a PhD program. The programme can be pursed full-time or part-time. 

Admission to the design courses at the NID is conducted through a Design Aptitude Test (DAT). The exam comprise DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

The final result or merit list is prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

No, LISAA School of Design application form fee is non-refundable. The candidates have to pay the application fee to submit their application form successfully. Candidates can pay the application fee via online mode through credit card/debit card/net banking. The applicants should keep the fee payment receipt safe. This comes in handy at the time of admission or for future references.

ILAM Jagannath University BSc in interior designing course is a three year degree course, mainly focuses on creating an  environment inside spaces improving its aesthetic value and functionality. The course syllubus mainly includes subjects such as Construction Techniques & Materials, Concepts of Interior Design, Understanding Colour, etc. Once students completes BScin interior designing course, they can pursue MSc in Interior Design or work in private design studios, PWDs, Government sector jobs, Town Planning Departments etc.

The NIFT 2024 application form is already closed. You've missed a chance for 2024 admissions. The application window was open from December 5, 2023, to January 16, 2024, with a late fee option available from January 4th to 8th. However, you can apply to other institutes. There are other prestigious options as well.

You'll need to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Science, Commerce, or Arts stream or a three-year Diploma recognised by AICTE.

Admission to BDes at DTU is based on a valid score in the UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) exam.

Selection Process:

  1. Register and take the UCEED exam, typically held in the month of March.
  2. After the UCEED results are declared, DTU releases its application form for BDes admissions. Fill it out.
  3. Merit List is based on the UCEED score. Candidates are ranked according to their UCEED performance.
