Candidates applying for the PG course need to pay the course application fee. An application is submitted successfully on payment of application fee amount. For the MDes programme at UID Ahmedabad, the application fee varies depending on the category of candidates:
- General Category (Indian and Foreign candidates): The application fee is INR 2,000. Candidates in this category have the option to apply online or offline. The application window opens in August.

The total tuition fee for the BDes course at UID Ahmedabad ranges from INR 24 lakh to INR 40 lakh. This is just the tuition fee. Candidates are also charged for hostel, one-time payments and other fees.

UID Ahmedabad offers a four-year BDes programme with nine specializations, including BDes (Hons) and BDes (Global Design Programme). Admission is through UID DAT, a two-tier process involving the entrance exam, Situation Test, and Portfolio evaluation. Passed Class 12 or a three-year Diploma with a minimum 50% aggregate are eligible. Admission to the BDes programme at UID Ahmedabad is based on an entrance exam called UID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) and includes a two-tier selection process, which consists of qualifying for the UID DAT entrance exam and participating in the Situation Test and Portfolio evaluation round.

A four-year undergraduate program called the Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design (BDes) teaches students how to create clothing and accessories. At the 10+2 level, students must receive a minimum of 50% in the general category and 55% in the SC/SC/OBC category. The required score, however, may differ according on the college.

The National Institute of Design (NID) will conduct the counseling registration for NID DAT 2024 for the B.Des programme on May 29, 2024. B.Des candidates who are shortlisted for counseling will have to submit campus preferences as part of the registration process. The campus entry must be in the order of priority. Also one has to enter maximum options to improve one's chances of admission. The allotment of seats to the B. Des programme will be announced tentatively in the 4th week of May 2024. BDes stands for Bachelor of Design. It is an undergraduate course offered by MIT Institute of Design with a three years duration. Its a famous course in the field of designing. The institution offers eleven specialisation i.e. Graphic, Product, Transportation Design, etc. To get into the BDes programme canidate should be eligible for the programme and must passed the two phase admission procedure round: MIT DAT, personal interview and studio test.

Maharashtra Institute of Technology Institute of Design offers three years MDes programme across eleven specialisation. MDes is the flagship course of the Institution. Candidates are required to appear in the MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test) to get into MDes programme. A valid score in MIT DAT followed by personal interview and studio test. As there is no facility for direct admission to the Institution, so candidates wont't be able to get into MIT ID without MIT DAT.
