The faculty of PDSCT in general is good and a major proportion of the students have noted them to be helpful, knowledgeable and supportive. Although, the initial batches were lucky to have experienced faculty of bigger cities, it appears that the general quality is graded positively. But the reviews indicate there are cases where the curriculum may not be well industry-ready.

Admission into Pandit Dev Prabhakar Shastri College of Technology (PDSCT) under B.E./ B.Tech courses is a middle rate competitive one. It mostly depends on marks in national/state level entrance curriculum such as JEE Main or MP BE. Though historical cutoff offs are somewhat unpredictable, a good rank in such examinations is also very essential followed by 10+2 academic marks (minimum 50 percent aggregate in PCM) in order to gain admission.
