Social Media Marketing (SMM) is part of Digital Marketing. Basically, Digital Marketing involves - Marketing, selling or promoting products and services online and when you try to promote on social media it becomes Social Marketing. SMM is one of the many ways to do digital marketing. Marketing your product, services through social media platform is called social media marketing.

Hi Priyank, Yes, you can apply for a job as a fresher, but you need to know basics. In case you are a total fresher then I would suggest doing a course will add bonus. A basic course in digital marketing and start with the internship, it will be a great start for your career.

As you are doing BBA from digital marketing, try to go for core digital advertisement internships. Content writing is also one of the kinds of digital marketing but not much effective.

Akash its always better to do a regular full-time course. In this case, you have bright chances of placements as well you can opt for part-time /trainee in a company in the field you are interested in which will give you exposure. For admissions in MBA, you have to appear for entrance exams All the best.
