I would say sound engineering is a better option as it is an extensive course and has better job opportunities than a DJ certificate course. Sound engineering is a challenging field, yet very rewarding. Sound Engineers develop a high quality recording of music, speech and sound effects in studios. They use technical instruments to produce sound for film, radio, television. The potential for growth is huge for a sound engineer. If you're opting to learn DJ or sound recording, then take step towards learning it from institute, a specialised institute, from where, you can actually learn about Djing and other criteria of making sounds.
