To choose a DJing style for yourself, you will first need to explore different genres of music such as techno, house, and trance, as well as hip-hop, pop, rock, classical, etc. The next thing you can do is search for the popular DJs in your chosen style. Listen to them, learn their techniques, and follow them on social media platforms. 

Here are some important piece of equipments for DJing:

• Turntables: They allow you to play or mix tracks from vinyl records or digital sound, alter and scrape music for unique sounds, etc.
• Mixers: The turntables are connected to the mixer which helps in blending the tracks. It's important to easily switch songs and modify their levels, effects, and tempo.
• Headphones: High-quality headphones to listen to and preview the next track before mixing it live are important. They ensure seamless transitions and assist in keeping the energy consistent during performances.
