First of all cut off depends solely on the highest number of marks obtained by an individual and it changes every year accordingly. But looking at the past records you need a minimum 110 to secure a seat in DJ Sanghvi whereas around 100 would do for KJ Somaiya. Secondly DJ Sanghvi provides you a BE degree whereas KJ Somaiya will give you a BTech degree. Labs are really clean and tidy in both these colleges. Also I would like to tell you is look how convenient a college is for you in terms of travelling purposes. I would suggest you to read the reviews of both the colleges and then take the best decision. Hope this helps. All the best!

A wannabe DJ must also have an outgoing personality, ability to mix with people and know their mood. He must be well versed with the music in vogue I. e. the hit songs, how to make them trendy by mixi

Hi Rashmi!
I would say sound engineering is a better option as it is an extensive course and has better job opportunities than a DJ certificate course. Sound engineering is a challenging field, yet very rewarding. Sound Engineers develop a high quality recording of music, speech and sound effects in studios. Career opportunities for sound engineer and technicians are available in various fields like radio stations, tv channels, studios, multimedia design, animation, advertising firms, movies and more.
