Distance MBA

IIM Ahmedabad has only recently launched their distance learning program in management in January 2017. The program was created in collaboration with Hughes Global Education and is carried out through 600+ classroom sessions.
The problem with this course is that you have to be a working professional with at least 3 years of working experience to qualify for this course. There are also several other criteria to fulfil in terms of age, aptitude, educational qualification, etc.
If you're planning to complete an MBA program through distance learning, I suggest you do it through reputable institutions in distance education. Sikkim Manipal University Distance Education is the first one that comes to mind. From what I have observed, this institute offers quality education and practical learning for its students.
Plus, the course fees are quite affordable compared to other renowned institutes that offer MBA programs through distance learning. And based on what I can tell, the university provides decent job assistance. Although there's no placement guarantee, they still set you up to have a good chance at bagging a good job.
But a regular MBA in IIM will fetch you job for 8 or 10 Lakhs. While a distance MBA is a little risky.

MBA (Master of Business Administration) and PGDBA (Post Graduate Programme in Business Administration). Both these courses are similar in terms of learning, where one being narrow in scope and the other being wider. MBA is a master's degree of administration, wherein students learn both practically and theoretically and gain in-depth knowledge of the business culture, while PGDBA does not provide such insights to the course, but touches all the portions of Business Administration. This is a Diploma and not a Master's degree. If you are looking to go for a job in the near future, I would suggest you should go for MBA and increase your chances of success of getting a handsome job for yourself.
