Yes, it's good to pursue distance MBA programme from Amity University. Amity is the good brand name and is UGC approved, but my friend there is no placement surety in distance learning. Yes, the university helps students to get placed as they have collaboration with many companies but they don't give any surety. According to my opinion, AIMA is the best universities for MBA through distance learning education. AIMA course is Approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India and also approved by joint committee of DEC AICTE UGC. Like in regular MBA programme, all the students who have joined AIMA distance learning MBA course are required to submit a project report in order to complete their MBA programme. The final certificate will be awarded at Convocation.

It was cancelled by UGC in 2017 I think. But, it was later restored. It was for all distance courses and not just MBA.

SMU changed the way it handled Distance courses, and has been becoming the worst since. I wouldn't suggest pursuing any course from SMU currently.

UPES, Amity and ICFAI are some top private colleges that will give you admission in MBA through correspondence. IGNOU is a good government college, but requires the student to pass OpenMAT.
