No, a hostel is not compulsory at DR. C.V. Raman University for students. Students can opt for the bus facility which is provided by the university. If students are from far or from another state can opt for a hostel facility which is provided by the university.

Yes, university is providing sports facility to the students. Sports like cricket, football, hockey, khao-khao, kabaddi, volley ball, table tennis are provided by the university.
physical education faculty have all the reposnisbilty related to sports events, sports equipment, play ground.
here are some sports events are organised like CVRU in inter university sports activities, annual sports competition, CVRU in mini sports Olympiad.

The DR.C.V. Raman University has not released the 2023 placement details. But NIRF report is out. The average salary package for UG courses is 1.80LPA and 1.92LPA. For PG (1 year) median salary is 1.80LPA and PG (2 year) median salary is about 1.92 LPA respectively.
The placement rate of 2022 is increased by 22% with comparison of 2021 for BTech course.

A great opportunity is provided by the university. The university put great efforts to get the students placed. The university has tie-ups with MNCS like TCS who come for the placement drives. Around 70-80% of students got placed with a good package of salary. The placement cell also gives tips and tricks to crack the interview and to get good placements.

Admission at Dr. C.V. Raman University is based on merit list or university entrance test. You can get admission on the basis of merit list other than courses like B.E, B.Ed, and p.hd. You have to fulfill the eligibility criteria which is given by admission cell to get admission in university.
