No, Maths subject is not necessary for hotel management courses. The eligibility criteria of D.Y. Patil IHMCT college for BHMCT program is as under.
Eligibility: Candidate should have passed the H.S.C. (Std XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination in Science/Home Science Commerce/Arts/MCVC with English as one of the subject and secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in aggregate for reserved class category candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
And Candidate should have appeared for MAH/HM/CET securing a non-zero score.

Placements: The placements offered here were pretty good. The renowned hotels came here for placements. The salary was based on how renowned the hotel was. The most renowned hotel offers the highest salary. Around 30% of the students got placed through placements. The internships are offered as well. The teaching staff helps in getting internships. The internships are offered in the 3rd year of the course. Infrastructure: This institute is present in Tathawade. The infrastructure of this institute is new. Wi-Fi is available on the college premises. The teachers and students can use Wi-Fi for laptops only. The kitchens are kept clean. T

If you wish to know about Rizvi College of Hotel Management, companies/recruiters who visited the campus are as below. I don't think the college offers any international placements. Cafe Coffee Day, Hyatt Ista Hotel, ITC, Welcome Group, Le Meridian, Leela, Kempinski, Park Plaza, Radisson, Royal Orchid Subway, Taj Group of Hotels.

Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology requires a minimum 45% in boards to apply there and you are way more eligible to apply for it.

Maybe because some private colleges offer admission to 10th pass out candidates but for Diploma course. But you can go for degree programmes after completing your 12th. You need to take NCHMCT JEE exam and get a good rank.
