Placement at the School of Management at Ajeenkya DY Patil University is impressive. As per year 2022 data, the average package for BA LLB students at Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College is INR 1.8 LPA. As per year 2024 data, 90 percent of students got placed in some top recruiting companies like Amul, HDFC, ITC, Bandhan Bank, and Hinduja Leyland Finance and the average package offered to students is around INR3 LPA, and the highest package recorded is INR6 LPA for international profiles.

No, you cannot join Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College without the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) for BA LLB. The admission process is strictly regulated by the State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), and appearing for the MH CET is a mandatory requirement.

For being eligible for LLB at Ajeenkya DY Patil University-School of Law, make sure you had passed the 10+2 examination in Science, Commerce, or Arts from PUC/ISC/CBSE or an equivalent board with a minimum of 45% marks. After that, you have to appear and qualify the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) for LLB.

It is possible to get admission to BA LLB at 90 score as the closing score was 71.4, among the General Home State category. However, for admission to LLB, it is not possible to get admission at this score as the closing score was 92.57, for the General HS category.
For the General HS quota, it is not possible to get admission to any of the course, as the cutoff was higher than 90.

There are generally high cutoff marks for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET) Law, for admission at Dr. D. Y. Patil Law College.
The required score for first round and last round was 98.1 and 96.18 respectively for B.A.LL.B.
With this type of score required, it is very difficult to secure admission at the institute.
