The last date to apply for the BSc course at Dr. YSP University BSc deadline for the normal seats is on first week of June Whereas, the last date to apply for the self-finance cours is estimately in the last week of June. Students must visit the official website to fill the application form.

Dr. Y. S. Parmar University doesn't accepts CUET for admission to its BSc course. The university conducts its own undergaduate entrance test (UGET) for admission to its BSc course. However, for the self-finance seats, candidates just requires a valid scores in their last qualifying exam. Find below eligibility and selecton details of the BSc course:

The documents required for BSc admission at Dr. YSP University are as follows:
- Class 12 detail of marks certificate
- Character certificate
- HP domicile certificate
- Medical fitness certificate
- Declaration of non-use of illicit Drugs (as per annexure-V)
- The following certificates (wherever applicable)
-Rural Area (As per format annexed as annexure-II)
-SC/ ST/EWS etc.
-OBC (Non-creamy Layer) certificate.
-Wards of serving/ ex-defence personnel.
-Wards of serving/ retired CAPFs personnel.
Candidate must bring copies of self-attested certificates at the time of admission as well as registration alongwith original certificates.

The recent Dr YSP University BSc admission dates for all the UG and PG courses were released in June. Candidates can visit the official website to apply. The last date to apply for the normal seats usually falls in the first week of June, and the entrance test will be held approximately in mid-June.

Dr.Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry admission is based on the in-house entrance exam for the normal seats and merit-based for the self-finance seats. Candidates must qualify the BSc eligibility criteria as per the university's admission guidelines. Class 12 with 50% aggregate in English, Chemistry, Biology, etc., from a recognised university.
Hence, direct admission is not applicable for the BSc course at Dr. YSP University.

Dr. YSP University BSc course is offered across three specialisations, i.e., Forestry, Horticulture, and, Natural Farming. The specialisations trains students in the management of plantations, various cash crops, sanctuaries, botanical gardens and forests.
BSc at Dr. YSP University is an undergraduate honors degree programme that lasts for four years. BSc admission is both merit and entrance-based. The university allows the normal seats only for the Himachal Pradesh domicile candidates based on the entrance exam conducted by the university. Further, admission for self-finance students is based on the last qualifying exam.
