As we already know a degree from IIT itself a far more prestigious than other colleges meant for all the branches. As IIT Ropar is ahead of IIT Mandi, Ropar receives more funding from the central government has a large number of tie-ups and collaborations with foreign universities and organizations internships, and studies all things are better in IIT Ropar.
