If your goal is to get placed sooner than opt for B.Tech only. M.Tech is not very helpful in placement and it also takes a longer time. Geology engineers are mostly hired in land and surveying companies like Reliance, L&T, etc. , are some of the top players.

Ph.D. from any university has a proper set up from the entrance exam to the final thesis submission. The fee differs a lot from university to university. There is no integrated Ph.D. as of now as per UGC in Indian authorised universities because there are separate rules & regulation which are timely updated by the university after getting approvals from UGC or other governing bodies.

Yes, why not. You could still go for IPM.
The minimum requirement is scoring more than 55% in 12th, followed by passing in the written test and personal interview.

Hi Shiva, Please be specific about the course name for better understanding. If you mean BS-MS dual degree then BS-MS (dual degree) is a 10 semester course offered by Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), Pune. HSC passed candidates can join the course by qualifying entrance examination. Selected students must pay the total fee of Rs. 19000 /- at the time of admission. Semester wise tuition fee for pursuing the course is Rs. 7500/-. Fee structure from semester II to semester IX are same. Students must pay a total fee of Rs. 12,000/- each semester.
