MA in economics is a hot qualification. One can get into the capital market as a researcher or economist. One can also join the media industry as a journalist, correspondent or writer. An MA (eco) armed with MBA finance is an excellent option for moving into the capital market domain as an Analyst. It is also an avenue of venturing into the academics line as a teacher/lecturer.
Salary depends on a multiple factors but is never a constraint for the right person with the desired skill set and exposure.

It depends on your interest and hard work. Both the courses are good but I think that finance is better in comparison to economics.

Actually, change of college depends on the university norms. As far I know it is possible only in the beginning of 2nd year, provided that your previous year's marks are good.
First, get permission from the department of your college. You should talk to your teacher in charge.

The scope of the subject is significant at both the national and international level because the ever-increasing role of economics is being understood by nations & organizations. As per my opinion and knowledge, Delhi University conducts an entrance exam for MA in economics and being a category student, you have much more chances of getting admission, it doesn't matter from where you have completed your graduation degree.

All these are good subjects and have good scope after graduation. You just need to decide what kind of work you want to do. After BA in economics, you need to go for higher studies to get a good job. Business studies BBA alone don't have any value. You can do an MBA after that B.Com in Taxation/finance alone opens many gates. Most colleges also have placements for B.Com, BA and BBA are good courses. BA Econimics is an evergreen degree
But, if you need to work after graduation, B.Com is a better option. Good luck.
