Economics is however regarded as a science subject but the field is different. Though economics is based on using science calculations but they are completely different field. If your future is concerned with arts then you will have to choose economics, if your main focus is on science then you may take science and can fall into the field of micro or macroeconomics as per your interest.

Hello friends as per my knowledge and my opinion if you are currently pursuing B.A. Hons economics then you are definitely eligible for giving the entrance exam of M.A. Economics of DSE as for the entrance exam of DSC you must have studies economics onus in your graduation so don't worry about it and go for all the best and have a great future ahead thank you.

Dear friend, as per my knowledge student of class 12th wants to do the economics honours after his 12 then he must have economics as is a compulsory subject in his 12th. Some universities also ask for mathematics as one of the subjects.

Frankly speaking, if you are a student with great acads, opt for the prestigious B.A (Hons. ) Economics course in one of the DU colleges. Opting for the aforementioned course would be comparatively better than the one mentioned in your question.
