I would suggest you to continue with your current field and go for Masters in economics from a good college which will help you understand the basic nuances of economic policies and how economy chain runs and will help you to make a good career in this field. Economics graduates have various professions open to them. . they can work in various sectors like Business, Education, Government & Consultancy fields, Banking, Political consulting and various Nonprofit organizations. Most colleges have a different provision for admission. You need to contact the institute officials personally for specific admission details as it differs from one college to another.

Both the courses are good & have great career opportunities. MBA is a generalist course and career options are more vide. CFA is a specialist course & has it own demand in the financial /capital market space.
Doing MBA is far easier that CFA. Please evaluate your interest areas & then take a call

95% of the syllabuses are same in every entrances like cat, mat, xat, cmat. The modes and type of exams are a bit different. The syllabus includes english, current affairs, general and critical intelligence, mental ability, data interpretation and sufficiency.
No, you will have to appear entrances if u want to get admission in reputed colleges whatever may be your grad stream. Dont go for colleges which give admissions without entrance score. All the best. Thank you.

Hi Manik,
Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.

Hi Manik,
1. If you wish to be a teacher in school, then go for B.ED and crack Teacher Eligibility Test. Eligibility conditions are:
(a) Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern
(b) Having studied at least two subjects at the bachelor's degree level, to be later taken as school teaching subjects
