Becoming a travel columnist can be a fun, exciting, and rewarding career!
Steps to Becoming a travel journalist
-Choose the right course of study. You can go for a four-year general journalism degree at a top journalism school, which will certainly open doors, or consider an online course specifically for travel journalism (as well as travel photography) which can open the right doors.
-Decide the type of journalism you would like to pursue such as newspapers, magazines, television, or online.
-Networking, Speak to as many people as you can! Who knows, some of them may become your mentor.
-Get your name out there. Send out resumes

Hi lalit,
Video editing is a very challenging profession. In order to become a Video editor, you should have the basic knowledge about Video editing tools and software such as final cut pro, etc. Mumbai is the HUB of Indian Cinemas therefore there are many good institutes in Mumbai . Few institutes that you can go for are:
- FTII(The Film and Television Institute of India)
- AAFT(Asian Academy of Film & Television)
- ZIMA() - Media Success Academy for Training & Research
Hands on experience can be gained , I would suggest you to join a good film making/Media institute or start working as apprentice.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert.
