This course starts with an overview of VLSI and explains VLSI technology, SoC design, Moores law and the difference between ASIC and FPGA. With this overview, it walks you through all the steps of complete VLSI Design flow and explains every step in detail. Then it covers the complete digital design, combinational, sequential and FSM designs. And finally it trains you extensively on Verilog HDL programming and makes you a hands-on RTL designer.

Online, you can convert your CGPA into USA grade then you can even decide into which college you can enter. According to me, I would suggest you:
10. Cornell University
9. Princeton University
8. Carnegie Mellon University
7. University of MichiganAnn Arbor
6. Georgia Institute of Technology
5. California Institute of Technology
4. University of Illinois Urban-Champaign

For electrical students both courses are very good. You can opt any one from your base knowledge like if you have read micro controller/microprocessor, embedded system as well as have good hand in coding ( Assembly or C language) then obviously Embedded system suits you. In case of VLSI there should be command on microelectronics and VHDL & Xilinx (software). Work on it. Good luck.
