You can see that, with a JEE percentile of 51 and a rank of 729,689, B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering may not be a choice for you. The private college or university which is the lower-tier option might allow higher ranks. The following may be the choices available to you: Shivaji University, especially for its engineering courses, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, where you may get the course that you are interested in studying, and PES University. It is prudent to engage in counseling process and explore available seats in various engineering disciplines since various colleges have different cutoffs.

Yes, one can easily get admission in B.E. / B.Tech course in Erode Builder Educational Trust Group of Institutions (EBETGI) through Management Quota without participating in TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). Here's how :-

Direct Admission: At EBETGI, the students can get direct admissions under their management quota by simply applying to the institution based on merit in their previous 10+2 examinations.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have passed their 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or as per the institution's requirement).
Candidates of reserved classes may be given relaxation in mini

With a 72 percentile in JEE Mains, you may have a fair chance of getting a seat in a few NITs, and this is not a guaranteed possibility as a rank around 286,000 to 322,000 corresponds to this percentile, and so the prospect of getting admission in premier NITs is impossible. However, there could be a possibility in lower ranks of NITs where cutoff is relatively relaxed in the case of ST students. It is advisable to go for counseling and explore state-level colleges as well, which would be more lenient regarding your percentile range.

Yes, you can get admission to the B.E./B.Tech course at SKF (Supreme Knowledge Foundation) without WBJEE, as they may consider alternative admission methods. While WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) is the primary exam for engineering admissions in many colleges in West Bengal, SKF also offers direct admission based on Class 12 marks or JEE Main scores.

If you have a valid JEE Main score, you may be eligible for admission through the JEE route. Alternatively, some seats may be available through management quota or direct entry based on your academic performance in Class 12.

Yes, candidates seeking admission in BE/ BTech courses have to register for TNEA Counselling after completing Class 12. Aspirants are alloted seat in the programme based on their Class 12 score during the TNEA Counselling. Once the seat is alloted, candidates have to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the institute.

You might just get a chance to get a government engineering college through state-level counseling if your JEE Mains rank is 870235 and you were born under ST category.

However, the chances of admission in an NIT or IIIT are completely ruled out because their ST rank cutoffs are far, far lower. Well, you still have a couple of backup options like state government engineering colleges for reserved category seats and those under the state quota.

Check with your state advice for ST cut off and seat availability in government colleges. Explore even the different counseling like JoSAA, CSAB, and individual state admission processes because so

With a 91% in board exams, you have a strong academic foundation for admission to SASTRA University. The university gives weightage to both board exam marks and JEE Mains scores. While your JEE Mains score of 50% may be on the lower side compared to typical cut-offs, SASTRA University also considers board marks significantly. Admission depends on the programme and category. For accurate details, checking the official cut-off or consulting the university's admission office is recommended.

Since you are an AIR 827976 in JEE Mains, Pvt Engineering Colleges or even Government Colleges in the states seem to be a good catching point because the cutoffs are not so high.

Heritage Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Carpet Technology and new IIITs like IIIT Kalyani, IIIT Una are some good options for you. Also explore the state-level engineering colleges in my home state under? 4 Lacs in which most times there are home candidates reserved seats at much lower cut-offs.

NIT Goa has specific branches having quite higher cut-off lines.

You may consider it, or you can also think about some private universities such as Lovely

The JEE Main result for the SIMS - Sanghvi Institute of Management and Science will be declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) once the two phases of the JEE Main exam will happen. The first phase will be held during the last week of January 2024, while the second phase will be conducted in April 2024. Both the sessions' results will likely be announced shortly after the end of each phase, and the final JEE Main result would follow sometime after the weeks of the exams.

The JEE Main cut-off for admission into any of the B.E./B.Tech programs in SIMS - Sanghvi Institute of Management and Science, Indore will vary every session. Going by past years, the cut-off for some of the courses, like Computer Science Engineering, would be around an All India Rank (AIR) of about 755000. The relevant cut-off may vary according to the number of accepted candidates, number of seats available, and difficulty level of the conducted examination. It is better to check the official SIMS website or contact the admissions office for the latest and most accurate cutoff details.
