In the 2024 placement cycle, Infeanet Digital Solution & Web Media offered the highest domestic salary package of Rs 13.5 LPA to students from Zeal College of Engineering and Research (ZCOER), Pune.

In previous times, the college has offered strong employment packages.

In 2023, Futurense Technologies is offering a salary of Rs 12.5 LPA.

In 2022, rtCamp Solutions offered employees an average package of Rs 18 LPA.


The base salary for the 2024 batch is roughly Rs 4.5 LPA and over 597 students have been offered jobs at MG Seating Systems, Gallop Infra Consultancy, Vishnu Vaibhav Industries Pvt Ltd, Pusalkar Suraksha Components, Bhavani Industries, API Metrology, UST and Precision Group.

MIT AOE was established in the year 1999 by Prof. Dr Vishwanath D Karad; since then, it has won numerous accolades for offering best-in-class education. MIT AOE has been approved by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC) and given academic autonomy. MIT Alandi Pune has won the award for the 'Best Engineering College' given by Savitribai Phule University ( SSPU). The institute has all its courses approved by NBA, and it has also received a grade A certification from NAAC. 

One of the best features of MIT AOE is that it allows the students to pursue research or education for a certain time in a reputed foreign/ Indian college. Frequent guest lectures and workshops by eminent personalities are always organised by the institute. 

Many of MIT AOE clubs such as AALEKH, MIT AERO, CODE CHEFS have participated in national and international competitions and won numerous awards. The institute has year-round events which receive nation-wide participation.

Computer Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering programs at SIT Pune maintain a similar standing as those at MIT WPU. The National Institutional Ranking Framework positions SIT Pune higher at 142 while MIT WPU holds a ranking of 157 during 2022. The placement outcomes at SIT Pune demonstrate moderate superiority compared to MIT WPU through their respective salary packages that reach INR 6.5 Lacs as the average and INR 37 Lacs as the maximum package. The alumni of MIT WPU typically earn between 5.5 Lacs and students receive up to 20 Lacs in their the highest reported compensation. Students pursuing Computer Engineering at SIT Pune must pay total fees of INR 7.9 Lacs but MIT WPU requires INR 6.4 Lacs as total fees for the same program.

The NITs are most prestigious engineering college after the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). NITs are also known for their high standards of education which helps to develop essential technical and theoretical skills. However, the computer engineering department is well-equipped, featuring an outstanding faculty and active coding clubs which effectively prepare students for careers in the IT or software industry. Apart from the quality of education, placement records are record-breaking.

Although, the COEP, Pune is also a respected government institution that provides quality education and good placement opportunities. However, it does not quite match the NIT in any significant respect. Moreover, for candidates seeking admission to the Computer Engineering branch, NIT emerges as the superior choice compared to COEP.
