It completely depends on your interest. If you like coding and computer hardware, then computer Science is the better option. But, if you like assembling and creating circuits, then electronic and telecommunication should be your choice. Programming of microcontroller and programming languages like C, C+ are also involved in electronics and telecommunications. Future, scope for the both the field is great.

Firstly there is no on campus recruitment system in US universities, they have career cells which will assist you, organize job fairs, etc., and if you are academically very well you will be connected to top employers. Naturally all the top ranked universities have strong industrial tie-ups. Based on the GRE score range you gave you can target Ohio State University, University of Colorado-Boulder, University of California-Davis, University of Pittsburgh, University of Delaware, etc. If your overall profile and academic grades are very strong then you can apply to universities like Purdue University, North Carolina State U
